F1

its been quite some time since i last posted something here... it all narrows down to the word 'LAZY' hehehe...

i know the F1 race is ages away, but i help it... my dad got the tickets and the both of us are going to c it live... it was completely unbelievable at first... since the F1 tickets are really expensive.. he got it through some connection of his n since my mom is not really into F1, hehehe, i got the other ticket n the tickets r RM 500 apiece..

wow, never in my life i would have thought i would be going to c F1 live! nvr crossed my mind that i would be going back to watch F1 since the A1.. 4 the A1, my dad also got the tickets through his connection... he got 4 tickets.. it was supposed to be for me, Michael, my mom and my dad... since my dad wasn't interested (partly cause Alex Yoong was racing for Malaysia *wink*) in going n s usual my mom would follow him... i got all the 4 tickets.. hehehe... so me, Michael, John and Nadine went to watch the race..

we agreed to meet there at 9 in the morning... Michael and i got there first cause John lost his way... so we hung around waiting for them... the air was lovely and we could watch the aeroplanes take off and land from where we parked our car... when we met up with John and Nadine we went to look for our seats.. Mall Grandstand... the guards at the gate were looking at us with a 'one kind look'.. like not expecting teenagers to own such good tickets... the weather was turning hot aledi at that time..

to cut a long story short i will move to the first race we saw.. the race with all the modified cars.. there were a few different types of cars but the popular ones was the satria and putra.. n i can't remember which car won... all i can remember it was an old car.. hehehe.. next came the celebrity race.. we wasnt bothered to watch it so we wandered around looking for food and the washroom. the main race was ages away, so we ended up playing, joking and fooling around with each other... hehehe... the jokes John told were really funny..

food and drinks there were totally expensive.. haih.. outside food and drinks were not allowed inside so we had to get them inside... the hawkers inside were like putting us on the chopping board... what's worst, they gave us hideous, yellow, support Malaysia tshirts at the entrance to the Mall Grandstand! i was completely revolted with them.. but 'that race' were putting them on with high spirits... a group of them with kids enough to fill a zoo were changing there on the stands! the males only of course... i rolled my eyes at them... :p

after a while, there was to b a kids parade on motorcycles.. we really laughed at them! they were so unorganized... when they were supposed to move in a straight line, there would be some one bound to be left behind.. i know lar they are kids, room for error should be allowed... but this is too much.. like there was no practice at all.. from their push off point until they reach back it was so messy...

nearly n hour to two later, then only the main race starts.. we were cheering on them when they drove past us... of course we didn't cheer on Malaysia :p, for some reason i cheered on Switzerland... hahaha..not because i know the driver but cause i love that country... the sound from the engine was totally piercing, i had to cover my ears when they passed by.. s usual our Alex Yoong didn't win... aledi expected... 5th place...

we left that place at 4 something, Michael had dinner with my family and then headed home cause we had revision classes the very next day... our final examination was 2 weeks away..

i really enjoyed that day, yeah but in exchange i had to pay with a sunburned nose and both shoulders... haih.. :p
